We
will introduce the sport of running to kids. This club is open to all
kids in Grades 3 & 4 and meets after school on Fridays until 4 pm. Each
week we will discuss elements of becoming a good runner while we
gradually increase the distance to prepare us for the Lincoln 5K on October 18, 2025. Participants will receive free registration for the Lincoln 5K
Runners will learn about good running form,
stretching, pacing, how to gradually increase running workload, proper
nutrition and hydration, and setting running goals. Most importantly, we strive to make running fun!
