| What: | Run together with your classmates after school! |
| Who: | Up to 12 students in 4th Grade |
| Cost: | This is a FREE activity! Registration is required to ensure appropriate adult supervision. |
| Bonus: | Participants will receive free entry to the Lincoln 5K on October 26! |
We will introduce the sport of running to kids. This club is open to all kids in Grade 4 and meets after school on Thursdays until 4 pm. Each week we will discuss elements of becoming a good runner while we gradually increase the distance to prepare us for the Lincoln Elementary School 5K on 10/26. Participants will receive free registration for the Lincoln 5K.
Runners will learn about good running form, stretching, pacing, how to gradually increase running workload, proper nutrition and hydration, and setting running goals. Most importantly, we want to make running fun!
